Between Old and Kallisti and Egiros is the Monastery of Panagia Faneromenis (better known to locals as «Fatiriaka»), one of the few monasteries that found in Thrace and a meeting place across the Thracians at it's day of celebration, which is the largest celebration of the Municipality of Egiros made on 23 August. In the monastery there is the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary.
