Beaches

In the southern part of the municipality, 22 kilometers in length spread the scenic and beautiful beaches of Fanari, Arogi, Mesi and Glyfada, with delicate golden sand and crystal green-blue waters of the Thracian Sea. All beaches are fully regulated, fully respecting the environment, offering comfort and unique moments of joy, relaxation and entertainment.

1. Fanari beach
The beach spans at both sides of Fanari and can be called the most tourist area, It gathers many tourist's accommodations (hotels, guesthouses and chalet - bungalows), but also restaurants and cafes for visitors.

2. Arogi Beach
Which extends south of Arogi and between lakes Karatzas and Xirolimni.

3. Mesi Beach
At the beach there is the settlement og Mesi

4. Glifada Beach (between thelagoons Alikis and Ptelea)
A great habitat of the region.
